Guest house “Pie vecā kalēja” is a place with an ancient history because the old tavern house was built during the government of the Empress of All Russia – Catherine II the Great, at that time it was used for post’s needs. Later the building belonged to baron for Engelhardt. The authentic look has been saved but owners made a corresponding interior.
