Daugavpils City Festival 2024
During the festival, the city’s birthday is celebrated with a wide programme of events. From 31 May to 2 June, Daugavpils will host cultural, sports and entertainment events, as well as street markets and activities for children.

The Daugavpils Palace of Culture is the largest concert hall in Daugavpils and one of the largest and most visited concert halls in Latvia. Daugavpils City Festival
This year, Latvia’s second-largest city will celebrate its 748th anniversary. The City Festival will take place from the 2nd to the 4th of June. As usual, many events will be held during the festival –food fairs, performances, concerts, sports activities, exhibitions, and other events.
Summer season at the Rothko Centre
At 4 p.m. on Friday, 2 June, the Daugavpils Mark Rothko Art Centre will open its summer exhibition season, featuring a legendary Latvian art group and other impressive projects from Britain, Poland and Ukraine.
