Starting from April 1st, the Shmakovka Museum will become even more accessible and will be open to visitors seven days a week, from 11am to 7pm.

On the first Sunday of March, March 6, the ticket price for individual visitors to the Shmakovka Museum in Daugavpils will be only 2.15 EUR.

On 19 February, winners of the Kilogram of Culture 2021 Award by Latvia’s public media were announced, highlighting last year’s standout achievements in the field of culture across nine nominations. The Daugavpils Mark Rothko Art Centre earned one of the prizes as “Best Place for Culture 2021”.

All day on Saturday 25 December and Sunday 26 December, admission to Daugavpils Mark Rothko Art Centre will be available at a discount.

8 November through 31 December 2021, the Ceramic Association of Latvia offers the public its latest exhibition, “Talk to Me!”, available at the Daugavpils Mark Rothko Art Centre courtyard.

From 3 November, ceramic artist Lilija Zeiļa offers her latest solo show, “Happenstance – Natural Order”, at the glass exhibition space of the 4METRES Gallery in Daugavpils Fortress, 8 Hospitāļa Street.

Due to the end of the active tourist season, the structures of the Daugavpils City Municipality Tourism Development and Information Agency will switch to the winter working hours from November 1, 2021 to March 31, 2022.

On Sunday, 17 October, all temporary exhibitions currently on show at Daugavpils Mark Rothko Art Centre will be available at a discount price.
