The aims of Tourism Department of the Culture and Tourism Administration of Augsdaugava Municipality are promotion of tourism development in Augsdaugava district, elaboration of tourism development plan, establishment of new tourism products, collecting and systematizing about existing and perspective tourism, culture, and sports objects, creating and maintaining of tourism services provider database, promoting of tourism, culture, and sports objects in Augsdaugava district, organizing events in these objects, selling souvenirs, promoting cooperation with tourism operators, administration of Višķi stage and stadium.
