“Biplan” Hotel is located in a historic 19th-century building. Its walls remember the visits of many well-known people. It was here that the celebrated Russian pilot, Sergey Utochkin, used to stay. In 1911, Utochkin in his Farman biplane demonstrated “flights in apparatus heavier than air” over Daugavpils to the public. Today, the hotel preserves the memory of those days in retro photos on the walls and, from the very first moments of your stay, you will be immersed in the romantic atmosphere of the first flights.
The hotel offers 45 comfortable rooms, rich and varied breakfast in the restaurant and conference facilities for up to 30 people.
There is a picnic facility in the courtyard (in summer).
The “Biplan” Hotel is conveniently located within a 5-minute walk of the historic city centre, the bus terminal, the Ice Palace and other popular sights. The hotel is ideal for people who like travelling by car – there is free parking and the hotel is situated on the main street of the city.
